What does it cost to spend a voucher? by Ken Dunn on 8 September 2016 9:40am

My wife got a voucher for a well known coffee shop and we are figuring out where to spend it. So far I have been thinking about the problem for about 15 minutes as I (we) have tried to pick the outlet to go to. The outlet we have decided upon is the best for easy access, even though some others are nearer, and it is roomy. This outlet is about 25 miles away.

I don't know the value of the voucher but if it covers 2 visits then there is 100 miles of petrol @ £6 per gallon and 45mpg = 100/45 x £6 = £13.33333 + thinking time =£15 + something else to make it really worthwhile to go the distance = £25 all for a voucher that maybe only valued at £x. At least I can check on something of quite high value while I am there.

Any comments?

Any comment ? You have OCD and I've been telling you that for around ten years.

Hah hah hah, Ken, you think too much. Just use it next time you are in their town. Vouchers are often used by retailers to get you into their shop where you can spend some real money.
