Turks and Caicos by Loretto on 8 April 2010 2:23pm

Leaving on Friday morning for Turks and Caicos. I'll be visiting a Primary School called Enid Capron Primary. This will be our third visit to the Island and the school. Looking forward to seeing all the kids, some real characters there. I will post some pictures when we return.

CULTURE DAY in march 2010,at the Enid Capron Primary School:

Watch a nice little culturally-uplifting 2-minute video of pupils dancing in traditional Turks and Caicos Islands dancing style:

Thanks so much jtm. I'll be checking emails while I am gone, might even post something to the website whilst there. The kids at the school are great, they sang the national anthem for me, no one knew where Ireland was though. Are we that insignificant??? ;-) Celts Unite!!!!

bIG I was in a rush off to class and my last post didn't get put up there, where ever post go when they are born. It said,
"Thanks for the video bIG. The kids are cute!"

I'll tell them the joke about Mick and Paddy and the drycleaners!!!!!

Hello folks!!! We're baaaack! The weather was...just okay to be honest, but the real trouble was the people from Europe who got stranded at Turks and Caicos because of the volcano in Iceland. A couple from Glasgow, Ayre? (am I right jtm?) are going to be stranded for a week or possibly two weeks, and another couple from outside London also in the same boat! Hope this volcano has not caused problems for any Palinites, and my best to all Icelanders!!! Good to be back, geography is still not boring I see :-)

I'll post some pics and video later!!! bIG likes my exclamation marks.
