Many Palin friends are asking with sincerity if Tootsie is a woman or a young lady who is praising The Women's Day.

Yes, but which woman? Maybe she's a Russian shot-putter type of woman.

There has also been an International Women's Day this week!

Re: Spring Holidays, Festivals and other Special Days. by bIG bLOGGER on 9 March 2010 4:40pm

Yes,suzulu,it was celebrated on 8th March,2010 around the world, acknowledging the economic, political and cultural input of women in society. The first IWD was in 1911,following on from the success of campaigner Emily Pankhurst in getting women the power to vote, and next year's IWD will be its centenary celebration.

In China,Russia,Vietnam and Bulgaria,it is a public holiday.

Are you saying that all celibate women should have freshly-cut yellow spring daffodils tossed at them in a feast of pagan celebration??

Gross limerick, leave it out/delete it,

bIG's explanation of International Women's Day is the factual one.
