Palin's Top 3 Travel Documentaries? by TheRedNomad on 21 June 2014 8:33am

Interested to see what are your top 3 Palin travel documentaries? Is ATWI80D the original and best? Are the more recent Brazil and New Europe superior to the early classics such as Pole to Pole and Full Circle?
I will get the ball rolling...

1. Around the World in 80 Days
- The original and best.

2. New Europe
- Underrated and a personal favorite.

3. Full Circle
- The series that got me hooked. Had Full Circle came before ATWI80D, this would occupy my top spot.

1) Around the World In 80 days.
(Episode 3 Ancient Mariners was favorite. I actually met Anwar on a Dhow in Dubai a few years back. I also met the Captain Suleyman in Mandvi a few years before that.)

2) Pole to Pole
(Episode 4 Shifting Sands favorite episode of the series)

3) Sahara
(Episode 3 Absolute Desert was the best)
