Hemingway Adventure by Loretto on 31 March 2010 12:57am

Okay we've finished watching all the series now, except the Hemingway Adventure. Hopefully the hubby will like it. What are we going to do when we've finished watching all the documentaries?

I know! We'll watch them all over again!

Oh dear. We'll have to watch the first episode again, himself fell asleep on the couch. Not sleeping right because of flooding worries.

Valencia looks nice btw.

Watched episode 1 and half of two last night. Nice idea, tracing Hemingway's footsteps, but a little too "staged" for me. I have to say, when I taught my 8th grade group The Old Man and the Sea, they thought the best part of the book was when the old man peed off the side of the boat into the sea. Anyway, no one's reading these posts so I can write things like that! Just for my own giggles.

All on my ownsome lonesome.....

Loretto, tell me you are a fan of Mary Isabel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien and...I'm on my way to Connecticut. :)

2 out of three ain't bad. I love being called Mrs. Love it....a very irish thing, maybe a scottish thing too. If you are on your way to CT, you've squandered an airfare, never heard of what's her face, and the husband wouldn't be too thrilled! LOL. Glad you liked the posts and enjoy my humor!!! PS That Elvis song was my dad's favorite song.

Ach Mrs, your far too slow on the uptake, we need some more Scots or real Irish around here.

Kazzzz!
( although, she's that daft she thinks four Scottish grandparents make her Australian.)

Yep, I am pretty slow on the uptake, but we all know that now. Have a great weekend.

And now for something completely different! Just finished watching the third part of Hemingway Adventure and I have to say it is good. Of course it had to be "Staged" because he was researching the footsteps of Hemingway! And no one can accuse Hemingway of being a boring man, accident prone yes, boring no!
