Sahara - El Haddej, Tunisia
Michael took us back to where he and the rest of the Pythons were crucified over twenty years ago in Life of Brian. El Haddej is also home to the troglodytes of the Matmata region; their Berber ancestors settled in the underground caves here over 2000 years ago. The sheep have their own caves, which are sometimes connected by tunnels to their owner’s living quarters.
