Our time in Libya was spent mostly on empty highways, confined inside an enormous pink coach, under the watchful eyes of our minders, while a video camera recorded our every move – getting on the bus, getting off the bus etc., etc. So, meeting local people, though not officially discouraged, was difficult. Here is one of them who slipped through the net - a taxi driver outside our hotel in Benghazi.
